Bethlehem University

Founded in 1973 by the De La Salle Christian Brothers, Bethlehem University is the first Catholic university in the Holy Land. Over 3,000 students study across more than 30 degree programs — and 75% of them are women. The university is open to students of all faiths, and it's often called an "oasis of peace" in a region that desperately needs one. Your support helps keep this beacon of hope open.

Healthcare

Caritas Baby Hospital

For the 330,000 children under 14 living in the West Bank between Bethlehem and Hebron, Caritas Baby Hospital is the only facility dedicated specifically to their care. Founded in 1952 by Father Ernst Schnydrig — himself a Knight of the Holy Sepulchre — the hospital provides over 44,000 treatments every year. It doesn't matter what faith a family practices or whether they can pay. Every child is treated.

Disability care

Hogar Niño Dios

Just down the street from the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, the Sisters of the Incarnate Word care for 25 residents — children and young adults with severe physical and mental disabilities, many of whom were abandoned by families unable to provide for them. The Sisters receive no government funding. They rely entirely on the generosity of donors like you for food, housing, medical care, wheelchairs, and specialized education. Hogar Niño Dios is, in every sense, a home built on love.

Youth programs

Gaza Summer Camp

For the small Christian community in Gaza, normalcy is rare. Each summer, the Order helps fund a camp where children can play, learn, and experience faith formation in a safe environment. It's a few weeks of joy in an extraordinarily difficult place — and for these kids, it can mean everything.
